The so -called drip irrigation acts as one of the options for watering plants and supplying them with water. It suggests that water penetrates very close to the roots of watering plants. Drip irrigation is a whole system, and special tapes act as one of its elements.
They are polyethylene tubes, the diameter of which can be from 12 to 22 mm. Each of the tubes has small sewn drops. Water flows precisely on them and is delivered immediately to the roots of plants. Depending on the characteristics, ribbons for drip irrigation can vary greatly.
For example, one of the indicators in this case is the thickness of the polyethylene used to create a tape. It is incredibly small, so the designations in this case accept conditional – mil. For example, the tape can have a thickness of 6 to 40 mil. The choice is carried out depending on the irrigated culture.
Capes for drip irrigation are a lot of ribbons. But you need to understand that not all products are of high -quality. Since the functioning of the irrigation system and the “health” of plants depends on how well such products are done, it is impossible to save when acquiring.
