When it is required to linen a small surface on the surface area (a kitchen spray screen or walls in the bathroom), a sink or angles of the bathroom can be taken for the support bar. We begin to lay tiles from the center of the line, this will help to avoid cutting tiles, since incomplete tiles can ruin the view of the entire screen. It should also be determined whether the tiles are laid directly along the marking line, or from both of its sides, which will lead to a change in the width of the gaps, and reduce the number of excessively narrow clearances. You can choose the location of the tiles relative to the lines: either by laying the tile first without the adhesive composition, or by measuring the exact length, taking into account the width of the seam in 2 mm.
To facing the sink, you should carry out a vertical line through the middle of the wall using the level, and only then begin to lay the tiles. Upon receipt of an overly narrow distance between the wall and the screen, you should move the initial tiles, but checking with the central line.
For facing the bathroom, it must be taken into account that all the cut tiles are pasted at the corner. If this does not work, the border can be moved beyond the edges of the bathroom. It is important to exclude all the narrow laying intervals.
On a piece of the wall above the sink, marking is applied as follows: the central line is carried out along the desired wall, after which the method of styling is selected (on top of the line, or from the side of it). Do not make the edges of the screen too far from the sink, otherwise it will have no support. Frames for mirrors can be done independently, the main thing is to show dexterity and ingenuity. You can make a mirror with an element of decor using a frame.
Laying tiles also has its own subtleties. The adhesive is applied by the flat side of the gear spatula. It should be thoroughly and uniformly covered the entire area of the working area. Next, we draw a gear side along the layer, achieving thickness of 2-3 mm. After that, put the seal on the glue (if required), then, with a neat pressure, insert the initial tile. After checking for the correct placement, we cover it with crosses and glue the next tile. With further work, it will not be superfluous to check the smoothness of the surface using the level.
