This can be done in a house that is designed in shades of gray. All shades of gray – so many possibilities! In one of our interiors we used various materials and textures, all of which reveal and show the enormous variety and beauty of this color in different ways. In addition to visual tranquility, gray shades of varying saturation will give the interior no less coolness than light, light, fresh colors traditional for marine style. And yet, our customers are looking for exactly what is considered a stereotype, a cliché, in houses by the sea.
In my opinion, no matter the color scheme of the interior, it should be spacious and airy. We try to increase door and window openings, which “raise” the ceiling and provide more light. Where possible, it is worth making a sliding glass wall with access to the site, then the space of the house “merges” with the street, becoming a single whole.
Seaside houses are about relaxation, so you want everything related to relaxation. For example, terraces, balconies, and plots of land equipped with sun loungers and sun canopies. In general, everyone wants to somehow arrange their own corner of the southern land, which is adjacent to the house, in a special way.
